The final two HC-CORE3 control system retrofits for Equinor’s compressor trains have now been successfully commissioned, completing the full series of ten installations. The installations are a combination of power generation- and compressor driven SGT-A35s (RB211) as well as E-motor drives.
This milestone marks the conclusion of a project for which Holland-Controls was awarded the contract back in 2016; a long-term collaboration brought to a strong finish.
With the upgraded control platform and advanced anti-surge functionality, the units are now running smoother, safer, and more efficient than ever.
